This Cookie Policy explains how Manzanita Dental and Dentaloo ("we," "our," or "us") use cookies and similar technologies when you visit this site, and what choices you have.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
In short: we use strictly necessary cookies, plus one optional "remember this device" cookie that we set only if you ask us to at sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Because the cookies we use are either strictly necessary or set only at your request, we do not need to ask for prior consent.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember that you are signed in, keep a form secure between steps, or recognise a device you have used before. A cookie is described as "strictly necessary" when the site could not provide the service you requested without it.

3. Cookies We Set
All of the following are first-party cookies, set only on the exact clinic address you are visiting. None of them is shared with any other subdomain, and none is used to build a profile of you.

Dentaloo staff and administrative areas of the platform use equivalent session cookies (dentaloo_staff, dentaloo_onboarding, dentaloo_invoice, and dentaloo_imp) for the same purpose: keeping a signed-in or form session secure. They are never set on a patient's visit to this site unless you are using those areas.
4. Cookies Set by Our Service Providers
Two providers set cookies on this site so that payments and site security work. Neither is used for advertising.

5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising tag.
- We do not sell or share cookie data, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
- We do not use cookies to store any Protected Health Information.
- Our membership plans widget, when embedded in a clinic's own website, sets no cookies of any kind.
6. Your Choices
The cookies described above are either strictly necessary or set only at your request, so there is nothing you must switch off. You still have full control:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block them, you will not be able to sign in, and payments will not work.
- Revoke a remembered device from Account > Devices, which deletes the trusted_device cookie and its record on our servers.
- Sign out to end your session immediately.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we ever add a cookie that requires your consent - such as an analytics or advertising cookie - we will update this page and ask for your consent before that cookie is set.
